She was energetic, flexible, a consummate customer-oriented professional who created a brunch with private bar that everyone raved about. We had people in our group who are vegans... that was no problem, as she included some delicious dishes for them. From meeting my daughter and me weeks before the date to discuss venue, menu and table decor, to being there at the brunch to troubleshoot any problems (there were none), she was an exceptional coordinator.

When I say that Mel and her crew can work magic, I’m not exaggerating.

She thinks of every little detail to ensure a flawless ceremony and reception. She solved all of our problems before I ever knew (and still don’t know) they existed. She’s willing to do just about any strange request from an allergy filled gluten free/dairy free family friendly menu, to requesting my favorite ice cream truck come in the middle of the reception. Mel and her team knew what I needed often before I asked and had smiles on their faces the entire time. I used to work in the wedding industry and asked one slightly difficult request, for me to only see the magic of Love and joy throughout the day, and not the behind the scenes chaos we’ve all worked so hard preparing. Melissa was absolutely incredible to work with! Getting married in the middle of the pandemic required a lot of shifting of plans and Melissa guided us through it all. With only a few months ahead of our date, we adjusted plans to be married in a small ceremony on my aunt and uncle’s property.  While it felt like a last minute change in plans, Melissa was on top of everything and incredibly professional. She was a dream to work with – thinking of details we never considered that made everything run so smoothly. She coordinated vendors ahead of time and with her collection of décor helped our vision come to life. We cannot speak highly enough of her as a wedding planner. To this day we still have no idea if there were any issues on the day of because of how seamlessly everything went.  She made wedding planning fun rather than stressful with the best ideas to make our wedding better than anything we imagined!
